So I'm Back?

Hi pals, long time no see, I know, I'm sorry, please don't hate me.

I just thought I might try and start this up again, I have done and been to a lot of places since November 2016 which was my last post, I'm sorry.

Just to catch you up, Hi, my name is Hannah-Rose, I'm 21 now which I am still shook about, and this is my blog. There is going to be a back log of places and people I have seen so prepare yourself for that.

Wagamama's & Chill

A few days ago I met up with Kayleigh for lunch and some Christmas shopping. While I was waiting for her I took a walk around town and found this little park so decided to take some photos.

Once I'd met up with Kayleigh we headed around to grab some lunch from Wagamama's. Wagamama's is one of my favourite restaurants in the world so I couldn't resist going.

Kayleigh and I then walked around town going in various shops and decided to pop into Costa for a quick drink. Costa have their Christmas drinks out so Kayleigh went for a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate and I chose a gingerbread latte.

I had such a great day in town with Kayleigh and hope to go out for more great days in the future with her. You can check out Kayleigh's blog here.

Getting Wet & Wild

Hello all, yes I know it has been a long time since I've posted like literally three months or something so I thought I'd treat you all with a blog post. This was from when I went to Toronto, its been a year since I've been and I'm not okay, I miss it so much!

Anyway, on the day we were up early and met our tour guide for the day outside our hotel. It was quite a cold day so we were all wrapped up in our coats and scarves and hats and we went round several other parts of the city to pick up other people who were coming on the tour with us. Once we had picked everyone up we then headed down to Niagara Falls, it took around 2 hours to get there so I mostly read all the way with my headphones in.

Now if you're like me you have certain albums on during a holiday which then become your holiday albums and remind you of those certain places. For For anyone who would want to know or is interested, the albums to listen to while reading through these posts are Nothing but the Best (Remastered) - Frank Sinatra, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out - Panic! at the Disco as well as Emporer's New Clothes & LA Devotee - Panic! at the Disco and Clouded - This Wild Life. All those albums remind me of Toronto and I would highly recommend them if you haven't listened to them before.

We walked around near the top of the Falls around to where the tour ferry's are.

While we were queuing up we got given red plastic ponchos to help keep us dry!

After we had dried ourselves off a bit, we headed through to the gift shop where I got myself a patch to put on my denim jacket as well as an ice hockey jersey.

We also stopped off at the Hard Rock Cafe to look in the gift shop before meeting our guide upstairs in one of the hotel buildings for an all you can eat buffet. There was also a balcony on the floor so popped outside to take some photos. Here is a sort of panoramic view from the balcony. Just to the left of this photo is the bridge which leads off to New York!

Once we had finished our buffet, all of the group headed back down to the minibus and headed off to Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a quick 30 minute journey to Niagara-on-the-Lake and it was so beautiful! When we got there we had 20 minutes to have a look around before coming back and heading off to a wine tour.

After the wine tour we started to head back to Toronto, on the way we stopped off for a break at this little cafe/ gift shop place and the view was amazing!

Be Proud of Who You Are

About two months ago I went to Canterbury Pride with my sister, friend Fraiya and a few of her friends. I first met up with Fraiya and then with her friends and headed down to the start of the parade near the Marlow Theatre. I met up with a bunch of old friends who I hadn't seen in a while and had a quick catch up and joined in the parade through the town.

The parade finished in Dane John park where the drinking began and we sat and watched a few drag queens perform as well as tribute acts like a Katy Perry tribute and a Pink tribute who were all amazing!

Pride was amazing and I wish I could have attended Brighton pride or London pride but I was away on holiday for London pride and working over Brighton Pride, but hopefully I will be able to go next year! It was such a good day to hang out with my mates and have a drink and a laugh.

Catch Ups & Cocktails

Hello friends! I think today is the one or the only time I've actually posted on the day that I've actually done what I'm posting about! But anyway, today I met up with my lovely friend Mel who I haven't seen in what feels like forever but in reality is only a few weeks at most. We went and got chocolate milkshakes and went and sat down by the beach and had a huge catch up.

After hanging out at the beach we went and grabbed some food and cocktails and then headed on back to Mel's house. We watched a few films and had a dinner and just chilled out. Soon enough it was home time.

Once I'd gotten off the train home the sun was setting so managed to grab a few pictures.

Today made me realize how beautiful the world is and how grateful I am to have the friends and family that I do.

I57 Shenanigans

The weekend after my birthday, 18th March for anyone who doesn't know and needs to put it in their diary, I went with one of my best friends, Mel, up to Birmingham to meet her boyfriend Ellis and to go to the gaming festival Insomnia 57.

We had both planned the weekend down to the detail so we wouldn't get lost. To start the day off, Mel and I went and got McDonald's breakfast and then walked with our suitcases up to the first of many train stations.

Our first stop was London St Pancreas, then we got the tube to Marylebone Station and then on to Birmingham and our hotel. Mel and I arrived at our hotel around 2.30pm, had a sleep, went and grabbed food from a Tesco store down the road and then waited for Ellis to arrive. Later on in the evening we met up with Ellis and hung out for the rest of the evening before chilling out and finally going to sleep.

Saturday came around and it was time for us to go to our first day at Insomnia. We got our wristbands and headed inside. This was my first actual gaming festival and a bunch of Youtuber's I liked were there to.

During Saturday evening we got to go to the Pub Quiz and it was amazing! There were so many people all hyped up, the Youtuber's were there to and it was a nice time to have a laugh, have some drinks and chill out.

During the Pub Quiz I got to meet Mini Ladd as well as...

Syndicate! The photo is a lil' blurry and I look like an actual egg but they were both so lovely!

The pub quiz finished around 12.30am and then a mini rave began and everyone was singing along to Bon Jovi, Queen and, of course, The Killers 'Mr Brightside'.

After that finished we drove home and quickly fell asleep as we were all shattered!

Sunday came around way too fast and it was already our last day. It was a really lovely day, I got a Syndicate t-shirt, we got some food and way too soon it was time to say goodbye to Ellis, his uncle and his cousin.

Literally just before we left Mel spotted another Youtuber I love so we we went over and I got a picture before we walked to the car to say goodbye.

The journey home wasnt too bad coming home but I started to miss being at Insomnia, it was such an amazing weekend with so many amazing and awesome memories. I hope to go back again this year, either in the summer or at the end of the year.

Also, huge thank you to Ellis for hooking me up with my insomnia wristband and helping me meet a bunch of amazing people and thank you to Mel for putting up with me for the weekend and making this weekend legendary.
