So I don't know if it's just me but my hair always seems to be falling out and has recently got quite thin and I really hate it. I got to a point where I didn't like how my hair looked or was or felt so I have decided to do something about it.
The other day I looked up on the internet of reasons why hair may fall out and learnt that your hair has a cycle; its grows, then rests and then falls out and that there are also several reasons why hair may fall out. Hair will naturally fall out but one of the main reasons why hair can come out is over styling which I must admit I do a lot. I used to straighten my hair frequently when I was younger as I hated it being curly and if I had my hair up I would have my hair band quite tight in a ponytail with clips in it. As well as over styling, stress can play a part in how your hair is and how much it falls out.
Recently things have became difficult for me and I have been a bit stressed but I know it will be okay. If you now reading this are struggling with anything and think that your situation won't get better, trust me it will and I know that you can get through whatever you are going through; it will make you a stronger person and you will get through this I just know it. If you ever need anyone to talk to then I will always be here for anyone that needs help.
Going back to what I was saying, I have found some ways to help your hair grow and feel and look better. The first way is diet; try and include a reasonable amount of protein in your diet and it can help the quality of your hair improve as well as zinc, iron, Omega 3, calcium and vitamin C. You can get all these nutrients in food and if necessary you can get vitamin supplement tablets. I never really used to eat much protein (meat, fish, beans, pulses, nuts and seeds, tofu and dairy) as I am a vegetarian; however I do eat fish but never used to as a child and I have noticed that as my diet has improved my hair improved. This change to your hair will not happen instantly, you will have to work at it if you want to change it.
Another way of helping improve your hair is the shampoo and conditioner that you use. For example I recently bought this shampoo and conditioner.
This is the Pantene Pro-V Breakage Defence shampoo and conditioner which I bought from Superdrug for roughly under £2 for each bottle, however it was half price when I bought it but that may have changed or not be applicable depending on where you live. This shampoo is pretty good at repairing your hair and leaves it feeling soft. I also bought this:
This is the Eclipz Argan Oil Hair Treatment from Primark which was £4; you don't necessarily need this exact one any product containing argon oil will work. Argan oil helps repair and rejuvenate your hair as it says on the pot and it really does work, my hair feels so much better after using this product and I would highly recommend it if your hair is damaged as it leaves your hair smelling great and feeling great.
The last thing I have been doing is to not do much to and with my hair such as not straightening or curling it at all; you should always use a head protective spray or product to help protect your hair if you want to do either of those things otherwise it will damage your hair further. I have also been not doing my hair bands up as tight or putting as many clips in my hair and slowly my hair is getting better.
